Alton Street Surgery have given an update on their procedures following a significant increase in positive COVID-19 cases in the county, and the lifting of restrictions on Monday.

They said: “Following a significant rise in the number of people testing positive for Covid-19 in the county, we will continue to require all patients and visitors to the Practice to wear face coverings when entering the premises, unless medically exempt. Everyone will also need to follow the social distancing and other infection prevention and control measures we have in place.

“We have received a number of enquiries relating to the need to continue with face coverings, most of which are covered in the attached video. Thank you for your continued support in helping us protect our patients and staff. Video – https://youtu.be/bExQPZKlhgw
