Alton Street Surgery in Ross-on-Wye has recently had a double makeover thanks to the generosity of the Ross branch of Bradfords Building Supplies and local volunteers.

A covered outdoor refreshment area enabling staff to meet safely has been a most welcome addition, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. All the materials for this project were supplied by Bradfords through the generosity of Dan Miller, the local branch manager, to whom the staff at the surgery are most grateful.

Alton Street Surgery also wish to express their thanks to Chris Hyatt, who volunteers at the Practice, and led a small group of local volunteers to design and build the shelter which enables staff to meet safely or have a lunch break outside, whatever the weather!

Patients and visitors to the surgery will have noticed the recent changes to the reception and waiting area. The makeover has seen a complete re-decoration to the entrance lobby, the waiting room and the toilets with the addition of LED lighting. This, together with new flooring which has brightened and modernised these areas. The practice are once again very grateful to Bradfords and Dan Miller for supplying all the paint.

The Partners and staff are very grateful for the time and generosity from all involved.
