The Ross Juniors under 14 boys travelled to Ruardean on Sunday morning to play Pumas in a friendly.

Pumas started the stronger team and took a deserved two nil lead thanks to two fine finishes from Oliver AK. Ross gradually got back into the game and pulled one back through a fine finish and run by Maxwell.

In the second half with the slope with them Ross shifted up a gear. Two corners and two good finishes from Soyam, which were both headers, made it 3-2 from Ross. Then Ross stepped up a further gear with Fin scoring two excellent goals, one being an exceptional chip. Then, as the clock was running out, the pacey Simon broke free like roadrunner and finished superbly making the final score 6-2 to Ross.
